Position Overview

We are seeking an Engagement Specialist Coop to promote adoption of Teck's Microsoft Business Productivity Cloud, including Microsoft 365, Copilot, and the Power Platform. The role involves crafting engaging communications and activities to foster Citizen Development and Digital Work Innovation across diverse teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, and planning to remain enrolled during the co-op
• Willing to commute or relocate to the area for the duration of the co-op
• Interest in cloud technology, storytelling, and community building
• Proof of valid work permit, if applicable

Salary Range

$4,000 - $5,100 per month, based on academic progress and experience.

Responsibilities

1. Champion safety and environmental protocols
2. Share success stories and foster community engagement via social platforms
3. Translate technical concepts into accessible language
4. Create and review content such as blogs, guides, and videos
5. Design visuals for presentations and campaigns
6. Plan and host virtual events and learning sessions
7. Assist with training and onboarding resources
8. Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to improve strategies

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in relevant discipline within an accredited coop program
• Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps; familiarity with Power Platform and Copilot is a plus
• Experience managing social media channels, including content scheduling and community engagement
• Interest in cloud technology, AI, and Citizen Development
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Video and graphic design skills are advantageous
• Independent and collaborative working style
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate effectively
