Job description

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Tasks:

  1. Answer inquiries and provide information to customers
  2. Arrange for refunds and credits
  3. Issue receipts and other forms
  4. Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess client feedback, enquiries and complaints in the delivery of meaningful information and services.
  5. Receive and log complaints
  6. Receive payments
  7. Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  1. MS Excel

  5. MS Office
  6. Electronic mail

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  1. Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.)
  2. Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, etc.)
  3. Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
  4. Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  5. Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees

Support for Youths:

  1. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth
  2. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth
