Job Responsibilities
  • Project a positive and courteous manner when dealing with customers face-to-face
  • Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and timely
  • Provide a qualified replacement or helper during absences or extra hours
  • Maintain knowledge of local infrastructure including roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
  • Ensure mail is securely in possession
  • Process CPC products and services (e.g., Change of Address, Damaged Mail, IDB)
  • Wear Canada Post ID visibly during delivery
  • Lift items up to 50 lb/22.7 kg
  • Operate a motor vehicle in all weather conditions
Other Information

Annual pay ranges from $16,498.48 to $17,882.81, including wages, allowances, and expenses.

Minimum annual wages: $7,844.56; maximum: $9,228.89; vehicle expenses: $8,617.92; variable allowance: $36.00.

Weekly hours: 4-7 hours based on a 3-day schedule; route length: 86 km; points of call: 10.

Mandatory vehicle requirements include cargo capacity, automatic transmission, power windows, and a metal roof-top with accessory power outlet. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and insurance.
