Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Technical Delivery Lead to oversee and work alongside stakeholders and a Project Manager to drive and successfully delivery the migration of 10 applications from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2022. This role requires a strong technical background and hands-on experience with the specified tech stack, including SQL, .Net, Windows web-based applications, CI/CD pipelines, web servers, API development, connectivity protocols, and Windows security and compliance. This role will start out as a 6 month contract with extensions and will required hybrid onsite multiple times a month in Downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Project Leadership: Lead the technical aspects of the migration project, coordinating with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

- Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on SQL, .Net, Windows web-based applications, CI/CD pipelines, web servers, API development, and connectivity protocols, ensuring optimized performance during migration.

- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce Windows security best practices and compliance standards, conducting security assessments and audits.

- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development, operations, and support teams, communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.

- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, documenting migration procedures, configurations, and best practices.

Skills and Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical project management and a background in software development.

  - Large enterprise banking and financial services industry experience.

  - Proven project experience in migrating applications from legacy systems to modern infrastructure, ideally Windows Servers.

  - Strong technical knowledge of Windows Servers including Windows 2012 and Windows 2022.

  - Technical expertise in SQL, .Net, Windows web-based applications, CI/CD pipelines, web servers, API development, connectivity protocols, and Windows security and compliance.

  - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  - Ability to work independently to drive forward deliverables and manage multiple priorities under pressure. - Experience with cloud-based migration strategies.

  - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

  - Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master). null
