Halifax is embarking on a new sports era with its own professional women’s soccer club, the Halifax Tides Football Club, a founding member of the Northern Super League (NSL), Canada's first Professional Women’s Soccer League. The club's mission is to foster sports enjoyment and empower future female leaders, supported wholeheartedly by our East Coast community. The Role

As a Game Day Retail Associate, you will be a key part of the fan experience at our home matches. Reporting to the Merchandise Coordinator, you’ll help with all retail operations on matchdays—from setup to teardown—ensuring fans have access to great merchandise and great service.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, has a passion for sports and fan culture, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Sell merchandise at the stadium Fan Shops during home games

● Create a welcoming and exciting experience for fans

● Ensure merchandise is displayed in a tidy and professional manner

● Help shape and deliver the matchday retail experience across 13 home games per

season

● Support setup and teardown before and after each game

● Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

● Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-first attitude

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Comfortable working on your feet in a busy environment

Physical Requirements

● Ability to stand for extended periods during games.

● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Job Type: Casual

Shifts: 4-6 hours per matchday (2 hours before kickoff until 1.5 hours after final whistle)
