They are entering an exciting phase of expansion and looking to strengthen the team with a Mechanical Project Manager (Small Works). Known for delivering top-quality projects and fostering a collaborative, forward-thinking work environment, this is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to move into Project Management and join the company on the journey.

Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a variety of small-to-medium scale mechanical projects across the South of England. Your expertise will be key in ensuring each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage mechanical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring efficient and successful delivery.
  2. Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Proactively monitor project progress, address potential challenges, and implement effective solutions.
  4. Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout project delivery.
  5. Regularly report on progress to stakeholders, providing clear updates and highlighting key milestones.
Projects You’ll Be Involved In:
  1. Commercial: Office buildings, retail spaces, and various commercial properties.
  2. Education: Schools, colleges, and university projects.
  3. MOD (Ministry of Defence): Military infrastructure and facilities.
  4. Local Authority/Government: Public sector buildings and facilities.
  5. Heritage: Restoration and maintenance of historical buildings.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in the M&E sector, ideally managing small works projects.
  2. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and project management principles.
  3. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  4. Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
