The ideal candidate should have experience with Data at Rest Encryption Program, strong proficiency in Python Automation and MSSQL, Configuration & Release Management, and familiarity with Splunk, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau dashboards.

Long-Term Contract

Job Description :

• Configure and troubleshoot Layer-2 network technologies
• Understand vPC, RSTP, HSRP
• Handle SFP+ and QSFP fiber optic connections and cables
• Configure and replace production switches
• Understand Data Center operations
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record required
• Travel to nearby sites as needed
• Set up, configure, and add all DC network hardware
• Assist coworkers with processes and escalations
• Order parts and return defective items following manufacturer procedures
• Manage ServiceNow ticket queue throughout the day
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Gather information to evaluate symptoms and determine issues
• Collaborate with other departments for technical assistance
• Prioritize and redirect problems appropriately
• Organize ideas and communicate effectively
• Stay current with system updates and changes
• Handle workstation installations and updates

Required Qualifications :

• CCNP certification with 5+ years of Cisco technology experience
• Knowledge of standard IT support concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to plan and accomplish goals with limited experience and judgment
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Layer-2 network technologies (vPC, RSTP, HSRP)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to visualize and troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
