It takes a great team to deliver environmental projects that clean up our communities and improve our natural resources. This includes those who coordinate travel and equipment for field workers to the field. We’re seeking an Administrative Assistant to work with a team supporting travel coordination for field staff and tracking field resources while following Jacobs and client policies. You’ll apply your strong communication skills as you work with customers to resolve issues and problems.

Based in Western Canada, you will support various field programs by assisting with administrative tasks, including document control, data entry, filing, and clerical tasks related to maintaining health and safety policies and procedures at Jacobs. This role will also include organizing necessary training and PPE prior to employees heading to client sites. Additionally, you will support our expense team with submitting staff expenses for travel conducted on company business.

  • The ideal candidate will support our HSE team with setting up training and supporting our expense team with field expenses during our busy field season. This candidate will support our team across North America and will need to be flexible with their schedule due to supporting various time zones. This position can be based out of one of our Western Canada offices (Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria, or Prince George); alternate locations may be considered based on the individual application. The position includes evening and weekend support, with work performed on an as-needed basis.

We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations, enabling them to deliver their best work.
