Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the CIO, the Statistical and Computer Systems Compliance Analyst will work on various statistical and IT projects, ensuring high-quality application releases. Responsibilities include validation of computer systems, risk assessment, interpreting guidelines/regulations, and developing policies.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Validate computer systems, coordinate validation projects, prepare documentation and reports.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to system security, data integrity, and compliance.
  • Interpret and ensure adherence to guidelines, regulations, and policies.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the computing team.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and inspections by regulatory agencies.
  • Manage audit/inspection findings, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide data usage input for projects led by other groups.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the CIO, including acting as liaison.
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in statistics, computer science, MIS, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in statistical analysis or IT management, preferably in regulated environments.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (SAS, Excel, Tableau, SQL, R, Python).
  • Database management experience is an asset.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
