Salary : up to £33.57 per hour

We are a leading institution in the international education industry, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Accounting and Finance Tutor to join our team.

ABOUT THE JOB

Student learning experience

• Contribute to the design, delivery, and development of modules and teaching sessions offered by the Sussex ISC
• Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials
• Prepare module examinations and assessments
• Mark assessments and provide feedback, including student reports and tutorials
• Develop and update course materials, including for the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
• Assist with induction, orientation, and registration programs
• Liaise with colleagues to support student welfare and progression

Quality assurance and enhancement

• Implement quality assurance procedures at the module and session level
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance
• Participate in quality assurance meetings

Academic management and personal development

• Participate in meetings with staff for program management
• Maintain records of teaching activities
• Engage in training and development activities

Carry out other duties as assigned by the Centre Director or Director of Curriculum.

ABOUT YOU

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject; a Master's is preferred for international Year 1 and pre-masters programs
• Teaching qualification (desirable)
• Experience teaching in UK higher or further education, especially with international students
• Ability to develop and update teaching materials, experience with VLEs is a plus
