The Role

As a Ground Maintenance Worker, you will perform daily inspections of sports and recreation facilities and play fields for serviceability and safety. You will ensure outdoor fields are free of litter, remove weeds and debris around the facilities as required. You will operate equipment such as mowers and trimmers, maintain ball diamonds and tracks as needed. You will clean volleyball courts, repair nets, and mark and chalk sports fields in accordance with specifications required by user groups.

Qualifications Needed
Education, Certifications, and Licenses
  • An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.
  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications.
Experience
  • Experience in outdoor facilities and equipment maintenance.

Other Information

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

This is a temporary position with an anticipated start date of June 2nd and end date of August 29th.

PSP contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through fitness, sports, recreation, and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members on deployment.
