Ottawa Farm Fresh is a diversified vegetable farm, full-diet farm store, and agro-wellness destination located less than 12 minutes from Parliament Hill. We believe in mind-blowing quality. Job Description

There are currently 2 positions available :

1) Farm Store Team Member

This is no regular retail job. As a member of the farm store team, you will be involved in all elements of maintaining the farm store and serving clients. A key aspect of this job is the ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain an excellent degree of organization.

Tasks include :

• Getting to know clients, building relationships, answering questions, and providing inspiration to try new things and purchase more top-quality local products.
• Checking out clients using the Point Of Sales (POS) system.
• Restocking products and keeping the farm store looking radiant and beautiful.
• Ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards.
• Keeping the cold room neat and organized.
• Opening and/or closing the farm store (depending on your shift schedule).
• Generating ideas to increase sales!

This position requires the ability to lift 25-50 lb boxes and bags and to work on your feet for extended periods.

• Season: May to October, with the possibility of extension.
• Opportunity to add farm work to create a full-time role, depending on capacity.
