The role of the Account Executive - Parcel involves identifying and closing key new customers as well as managing an assigned customer base. The position requires working cross-functionally with key stakeholders to grow revenue with a focus on profitability, operational fit, and customer experience. The Account Executive will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and other departments to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Consistently identify new pipeline opportunities
Present the company's value proposition to C-suite executives.
Liaise across all of parcel & courier to drive innovative solutions.
Identify areas of growth opportunity by customer segment.
Work closely with Sales Operations to develop market penetration strategies.
Prepare and consult with the Pricing Team to create compelling business proposals.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
2+ years of experience in selling to mid-market accounts
Excellent interpersonal communication and probing skills
Client service orientation, both internal and external
Strong business acumen, preferably in courier and/or supply chain management
Demonstrated drive, persistence, and initiative
High proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
University or college degree preferred
