EES Mechanical Pipefitter Field Supervisor (ESCO/Performance Contracting)

Job Summary

PowerSecure is seeking qualified candidates for exciting new projects throughout the US. Core responsibilities include overseeing Mechanical Project Installations such as piping replacements, chillers, boilers, air handlers, pumps, VAV boxes, etc., by managing internal installers, technicians, and subcontractors. Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or Trade School certification
• Valid Driver’s license
• Real ID or U.S. Passport for travel and site access
• Knowledge of Procore, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• 8+ years in pipefitting/mechanical trades and 3+ years in supervisory roles
• Experience with scheduling, project budgeting, materials coordination, managing labor
• Proficiency with various pipe and fitment techniques and materials
• Sheet metal ductwork experience
• Electrical and controls installation knowledge (a plus)
• Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and site requirements
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Extensive pipefitting/mechanical skills in HVAC industry
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and equipment submittals
• Material takeoff and ordering skills
• Project management, scheduling, and budgeting knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of project accounting
• Leadership in safety standards and practices

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage and supervise up to 8 HVAC installers, laborers, and subcontractors to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate installation schedules with project teams and clients
• Develop weekly/monthly work schedules
• Document work progress with daily reports
• Conduct daily safety briefings and delegate responsibilities
• Mentor and develop team members
• Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety policies

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must lift up to 50 pounds, walk, climb, kneel, and work in various weather conditions. Work may involve exposure to hazards such as electrical shock, chemicals, heights, and noise.
