Job description

We are looking for a BI Developer for a full-time permanent engagement. Role is hybrid with 1 day a month in Scarborough.

Role Overview:

• Position: BI Developer (focused on SAP BW and SAP Datasphere)
• Responsibilities: Collect data from various systems, integrate it into the data warehouse, and support related technologies. The role will also involve promoting self-service BI within the organization and collaborating with business teams to understand data needs.

Key Technologies:

• Core tech: SAP BW (specifically BW4Hana), SAP Datasphere (project in progress), SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), AWS (Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue), Python (optional but beneficial).
• Cloud: SAP4Hana and AWS.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Must have experience as a BW developer (BW4Hana), with some exposure to cloud environments and AWS technologies. Need to have some BOBJ development experience. Candidates with Business Objectives and BW background can learn BOBJ. Knowledge of SAP Datasphere or Data Warehouse Cloud is a plus but not required.
• Skills: Strong background in data engineering, analytics, and reporting. Familiarity with dashboard tools (like PowerBI) and experience with BI technologies. Exposure to Python for data-related tasks is a bonus.
