Shakudo is looking for an Account Executive with an investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or consulting background to join our dynamic sales team. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue expansion and customer acquisition.

No prior sales experience is required

The ideal candidate demonstrates analytical thinking abilities with a focus on understanding client needs and developing appropriate solutions. We're looking for someone who can approach business challenges methodically and connect our technical offerings to clients' business objectives.

Our customers include leading organizations in highly sensitive sectors - such as space & defense, nuclear energy solutions, healthcare, financial services, oil & gas, etc. - that are eager to innovate with data but need to keep their data and AI tooling in-house.

• Execute a strategic plan to identify and engage mid-market and enterprise businesses in data-sensitive industries.
• Build lasting relationships with C-level stakeholders by understanding their technical and business challenges.
• Own a sales process - managing everything from lead generation to close - and maintain a deal pipeline.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to develop tailored solutions for clients.

• 6-8 months co-op or 1-2 years experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Sciences, Public Policy, or similar from a Canadian or US university.
