Intermediate Electrical Engineer

Why This Role is Open:

To meet the growing demands of our residential projects, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented Electrical Engineer to join the Vancouver studio.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct power system studies, including short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash, and grounding analysis.
2. Design, draft, and assist in the construction and commissioning of industrial electrical systems.
3. Follow production guidelines and project standards.
4. Provide CAD drafting and design support for various project phases.
5. Assist in resolving technical issues on construction sites.
6. Support team operations and contribute to a safe and healthy work environment.

Must Haves:

1. Associate's degree or technical school diploma/certificate in a related program.
2. 5+ years of relevant work experience.
3. Understanding of regional and local electrical and building codes.
4. Proficiency in Revit for MEP modelling.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
6. P.Eng designation.

Nice-to-Haves:

1. Experience with power system analysis software (SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, SES, CDEGS, CYME).
2. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
3. Ability to solve problems creatively.
4. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
