Meter Reader

Job Duties Include

1. Complete all daily meter reading assignments/tasks efficiently.
2. Upload/download daily route/work assignments as required to meet the Utility’s schedule.
3. Meet meter reading Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
4. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
5. Maintain professionalism and exercise common sense in all interactions.
6. Follow GTel’s written procedures and checklists to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely service.
7. Report hazards/problems and suggest improvements to enhance service quality.
8. Update and maintain all handheld field devices to ensure service quality and efficiency.
9. Use and care for all GTel and Utility equipment according to company policies.
10. Provide weekly data updates for payroll and customer invoicing.

Skills Required

• Physically capable of walking 15-20 km daily.
• Reliable vehicle with a valid G driver’s license and current insurance.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Background Check.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Proven customer relation skills.
