Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

Our team has an opportunity for a Sr. Salesforce Developer (1 year contract) to ensure that a) we maximize the value of the Salesforce program; b) oversee the implementation of Salesforce; and c) manage the ongoing operational and continuous improvement processes across Moneris. This role provides analysis of sales leads data and makes recommendations on operational initiatives to help strategic decision-making. This role is accountable for the sales team with the Salesforce system and supports marketing and business intelligence needs.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Sr. Manager, Software Development and Architecture.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Analyze requirements, design, develop, update, and repair solutions that pertain to improving the product through development, design, and business intelligence. Conduct data analysis to support business requirements and transfer design concepts across environments.

  • Analyze business requirements for complex issues to determine the best solution; some user interaction may be required. Experience in taking a lead role in moderately sized or key portions of complex software systems delivered to customers.

  • Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of complex software, demonstrating knowledge of software development best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

  • Build solutions that operate platforms that power our business. Work directly with the users of your software to understand the domain and identify opportunities for optimizations.

  • Able to take a project from scoping requirements through to the actual launch of the project.

  • Conduct product reviews to ensure functionality meets future user/client requirements.

  • Conceive new features or re-architect areas for user and performance improvement.

  • Mentor junior members and perform peer code reviews.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in a Technology or business environment.

  • 6+ years of Force.com developer and administrator knowledge (preferably certified).

  • Development and coding best practices.

  • Experience using debugging tools such as APEX logging.

  • Understanding of object-oriented programming languages (APEX, Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python).

  • Experience in automated testing, including unit and functional testing.

  • Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).

  • Proficient in leading projects or project steps and communicating progress/approach with technical and non-technical peers/clients.

  • Salesforce Certification (Admin, App Builder, Salesforce Developer, AI Specialist).

  • Experience with Agile software development practices and tools.

  • Mulesoft Integration experience.
