EEC Certificate Lead Teacher / Preschool Teacher

Job Description:

We are looking for someone to fill the EEC LEAD Certificate Teacher / Preschool teacher within a children's center in Sudbury. The children’s center is an established and respected alternative to more commercial childcare/Infant and Toddler offerings. We stand by our philosophy of “Play and Learn together” and our teachers have the experience to support and celebrate various learning styles.

The EEC Certificated teacher should be detailed, focused, and passionate about the educational development, safety, and welfare of the children and staff. Qualifications for EEC Certificated Teacher:

  1. Early Education Degree Required (Associates or Bachelors).
  2. Prior leadership/program management experience.
  3. Five years plus of Preschool/PreK teaching experience required.
  4. Management Children/Classroom Experience.
  5. For Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teachers, we require certification from the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).
  6. First Aid and CPR Certification is preferred, and we offer our own company sponsored training program on-site for certification by a paramedic for interested applicants.
  7. Should be caring, kind, and interested in the growth and development of children and the team you work with.
  8. CORI, SORI, and DCF background checks and drug screenings are required.
  9. A caring and compassionate attitude is a must.
  10. Completed background check.
