Temporary: September 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026

Qualifications

  • BC Certification
  • Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent
  • Undergraduate degree with a major or minor in the above subjects
  • Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for the above subjects, the learning outcomes and appropriate resources
  • Previous successful experience teaching the above subjects
  • Experience with a variety of learning management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $60,337 to $111,450, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
