NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION: REGISTERED NURSE, Emergency

Primary Site: Seaforth

Employment Type: Regular Part-Time x3

REPORTS TO: Manager, Emergency & Inpatient Services – Seaforth

Date Required: As soon as possible

Salary: $39.07 to $56.00 per hour

Qualifications
  • Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Requirements
  • Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing preferred.
  • Recent/related courses, in-services in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing.
  • Forty-five (45) minute return time when scheduled for standby.
Skills/Abilities

Specialized skills required in:

  • Paediatric and adult assessment, including triage and Acuity Scale.
  • 12 lead ECG interpretation.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and problem solve.
Preferred Training
  • Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
  • Emergency Nursing Certificate (ENC).
  • Emergency Trauma Life Support (ETLS).
  • Trauma Management.
