Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to safety policies, programs, procedures
  2. Complete health & safety pre-start checklists
  3. Ensure product being produced meets established quality specifications
  4. Document quality checks at regular intervals
  5. Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures
  6. Operate counterbalance, propane-powered forklift
  7. Document production numbers, items contributing to down-time (using computerized system, as well as hand-written production reports)
  8. General housekeeping duties
  9. Additional duties as assigned by Supervisory staff

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred
  2. Counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended)
  3. Comfortable with working in a dusty environment
  4. Manual dexterity
  5. Attention to detail
  6. Fluent in verbal and written English

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
  2. Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
  3. Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces

Salary

The starting wage for the position is $28.95/Hour with potential for further increases.
