Job Overview

WSP's Resources subsector, part of the ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients nationwide. We offer services including economic studies, project management, detailed design, procurement, site management, commissioning, and industrial programming. Our division serves industrial and mining projects from conceptual studies to detailed engineering in EPCM, including mine site closure and dismantling. Our team strives to meet industry standards and innovate beyond them.

We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team in Etobicoke. You will work on projects across residential, public, and industrial sectors, overseeing design and construction, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and client needs.   • Design of Timber, Steel, and Concrete Structures
  • Foundation system analysis and design
  • Preparation of construction drawings and structural calculations
  • Site visits and construction reviews
  • Client, partner, and contractor interactions
  • Technical report writing and proposal support
  • Supporting project management to ensure timely, within-budget delivery

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) in Ontario
  • 5-8 years of structural design experience
  • Knowledge of CSA standards and Ontario Building Codes (Parts 9 and 4)
  • Eligible for federal security clearance
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (WoodWorks, S-Frame, SAP2000, SAFE)
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit Structure
  • Valid Full-G driver’s license
