Intermediate / Senior Municipal Engineer

As one of Atlantic Canada’s largest and most reputable engineering and architecture firms, EXP offers a full suite of multidisciplinary consulting services. We are 100% employee-owned, allowing for local decision-making flexibility.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Intermediate or Senior Municipal Engineer to join our Moncton team. You will collaborate with EXP’s multidisciplinary team across six Atlantic Canadian offices on exciting infrastructure projects, with opportunities to work on unique and challenging projects across North America.

Your Role & Responsibilities

1. Coordinate planning, design, and construction management of civil/municipal infrastructure projects, including site grading, development, street reconstruction, water and wastewater systems, stormwater management, parking, and active transportation.
2. Prepare construction specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
3. Manage project budgets and schedules.
4. Engage with stakeholders such as owners, contractors, sub-consultants, utilities, businesses, and the public.
5. Coach, mentor, and develop junior staff.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
7. Ensure project needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) from APEGNB.
• 10-12+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
