North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) is dedicated to building healthy individuals, families and communities. We offer a wide range of recreation and cultural programs and services to residents of all age and abilities. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic and friendly individuals to deliver memorable experiences and quality Masters Swim Coaching to our community.

ABOUT YOU
You are an energetic and highly motivated individual who is available to coach our Masters Swim Program. You actively coach, provide different and varying work outs, and give feedback and stroke correction to participants. You are a team player who is committed to community. You are reliable, responsive to customer needs, and excellent at building relationships. You are courteous and effective with the public and enjoy working with a diverse group of people and instructing in a safe and friendly manner.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
The ideal Masters Swim Instructor/Coach candidate will have a minimum NCCP Swimming 101 Coaching Certification, and a current Emergency First Aid & CPR-C Certification or higher from an approved agency (Lifesaving Society, St. John Ambulance, Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Canadian Ski Patrol).
Hours vary and instructors should be prepared to work days, evenings and/or weekends at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location. Shifts for this role are mainly early mornings from Monday to Friday.
All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a condition of employment.
HOURLY RATE: The rate of pay for this casual position is $33.95 per hour.
