YOUR ROLE
Assess the patients' health status and provide appropriate care throughout the transfer, adhering to medical protocols and taking into account their needs and wishes.
Ensure the planning of aeromedical transports by coordinating each step of the transfer, including medical care and both land and air transport.
Maintain smooth and effective communication with all stakeholders (flight coordination, medical team, hospitals, ambulance staff, etc.) to ensure accurate follow-up and optimal patient care.
Apply and adhere to the current procedures and policies while ensuring a quality service centered around the patient.
SCHEDULE
Pre-determined flight schedule - daytime. $120 per day of availability + $40 / hour of flight.

Qualifications and Operational Requirements :
2 years of experience in critical or emergency care (emergency room with resuscitation, expanded role, etc.)
Must be a member of the Order of Nurses of Quebec (OIIQ);
CAMATA (Canadian Aerospace Medicine and Aeromedical Transport Association) certification would be an asset (training provided in-house);
SIR (Immediate Resuscitation Care) training would be an asset (training provided in-house);
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification would be an asset (training provided in-house).
Skills and Competencies :
Valid driver’s license ;
Bilingual in English and French (50% of operations are conducted in English);
Ability to plan, organize, lead, and control ;
Analytical and problem-solving abilities ;
Strong organizational skills , methodical, and initiative-driven;
Autonomous ;
Customer service and safety oriented ;
Versatile, flexible, reliable, and punctual ;
Knowledge of Indigenous communities and dialects from around the world (an asset).
