Position Summary

EcomPack is seeking a new member to join our growing team! As a motivated and results driven Inside Sales Representative , you will support our Sales Team to provide quality packaging and supply solutions to our customers. The ideal candidate is a sales hunter with customer service experience and a business background. The core functions of this role include prospecting through cold calling, lead generation, CRM management, customer service, order processing, quoting and coordinating sales activities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills along with attention to detail, a positive can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the team are a must.

Responsibilities

Prospecting and Lead Generation :

  • Place outgoing calls to our prospective client database to introduce and explore sales opportunities.
  • Identify and close new opportunities through outbound email promotion and call follow up.

Customer Quotes :

  • Create customized quotations in the CRM based on the customers’ supply needs.
  • Collaborate with Sales Management to ensure that proposals align with our capabilities.

Closing :

  • Follow up on quotes with the Sales Team to generate new business.
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Achieve and maintain a high closing rate.

CRM Management :

  • Compile, record, and update client information.
  • Build client database using our CRM software.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of all interactions with prospective and existing customers.
  • Manage and prioritize a sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-ups.

Product Knowledge :

  • Provide an in-depth understanding of our products / services and how they address client needs.
  • Research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and generate interest in our products / services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to effectively communicate our value proposition.

Customer Service :

  • Coordinate with customers and team members to provide exceptional support in a timely manner with clear communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business Admin, Sales or Marketing
  • 2+ years B2B inside sales experience
  • Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • Good computer skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant software packages
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License and own vehicle with a clean abstract is an asset
  • Industry experience (Packaging, Distribution, Wholesale) is an asset
  • Sales mindset with the desire and ability to convert prospects into customers, manage customer expectations, resolve concerns / objections and maintain strong, lasting working relationships
  • Good organizational, time-management, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working alone as well as in a team
  • Passionate and professional self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills
