Skills Provision is searching for a Quality Engineer for a company in Canada.

Our client is a large-run manufacturing business in Calgary, Alberta. They require a new Quality Engineer as they are working through a new growth stage of their development.

Role

• Enhance and sustain all quality systems.
• Provide tools and training to improve output and increase efficiency.
• Continuously optimise and improve the SPC system.
• Maintain and improve metrology tools, methods and understanding.
• Provide optimised sampling plans to ensure high quality.
• Drive real and sustainable improvements through the CAPA system.
• Monitor and analyse quality data.
• Report trends, process capability and results.

Requirements

• 3-5 years hands on experience in medium to high volume manufacturing environment.
• First-hand experience with Statistical Process Control Systems.
• Mastery of MS Excel and the Office Suite
• Understanding of Process Control theories.
• Familiarity with sampling plans, confidence intervals, significance testing, etc.
• Diligent approach to work.
• A calm and confident engineer.
• Works well under pressure.
