Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies and procedures, and as directed by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation standards of practice.
  4. Provide patient/Caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.
  6. Ensure reliable availability based on the employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs.
  7. Communicate and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.
  8. Communicate effectively with Patients/Caregivers to set up appointments and drug delivery to home and clinic.
  9. Participate in team web-based meetings/training sessions to maintain and enhance professional standards.
  10. Participate in specialized client-related training as required.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team.
  12. Work within multidisciplinary teams providing oversight and delegation of applicable tasks to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  13. Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
  14. Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and Work Instructions.
  15. Comply with all Health and Safety standards as per provincial regulations.
  16. Complete ongoing and annual education training within the specified timeframes.
  17. Perform other duties as required by Innomar.
  18. Be on standby/on call as needed.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
  1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse required.
  2. 1 year experience in IV initiation required.
  3. Current registration with licensing body; CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, outpatient, or homecare settings.
  5. Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA are assets.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet use.
  7. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  8. Ability to work autonomously and travel within the designated area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry (asset).
  2. Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  4. Hold a valid driver’s license and insurance.

The successful candidate may have daily interactions with English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
