Full Job Description

This is a hybrid attendance position, job number 26217, in the Manager category, with a permanent contract. The role is full-time, based in Edmonton, Alberta, within the advisory services and call centers sectors.

As a Director at the Customer Experience Center in the Remote Advisory Center sector, you will lead a team of advisors dedicated to meeting diverse client needs while ensuring a superior customer experience. You will foster a motivating environment that promotes customer service and professional growth, leveraging your coaching skills, passion, innovative spirit, and agility.

Your Role:
  • Achieve financial goals by guiding your team in behaviors and business development activities.
  • Provide personalized coaching to develop team skills and support their professional journeys.
  • Mobilize employees to meet customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty objectives, creating a client-focused culture.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer experience through hands-on leadership.
  • Participate in projects and missions as an expert.
  • Engage with internal and external partners to develop and evolve partnership models.
  • Ensure team compliance with engagement rules, customer segmentation, risk management, and operational procedures.
  • Act as the Compliance Officer of the Business Unit (BCO) supervising mutual fund representatives.
Team and Work Environment:

Reporting to senior management, you will work with leaders, advisors, agents, and partners. The position is in-person at the office, with a flexible schedule including some evenings.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5-10 years of experience in team management, coaching, or business development in the financial sector.
  • Relevant educational background: college diploma (8-10 years experience), bachelor's degree (5-7 years), or master's degree (5 years).
  • Minimum two years as a Mutual Funds Representative (MFR).
  • Responsibility for compliance as a BCO or willingness to become one within 3-6 months.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience managing customer service and business development teams.
  • Knowledge of customer contact centers in the financial industry.
  • Languages: English.
