Do you have a knack for organizing captivating and exciting activities? Is creativity your middle name? We want you on our team Les Jardins Katerina, a friendly private seniors' residence located in Loretteville, is looking for a full-time Recreation Manager position. A college diploma in recreation and leisure activities is not required. Experience working with seniors is an asset. This is a small family residence. We offer group insurance, telemedicine, a stable schedule, and more.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. or 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. Salary : Starting at $21 per hour

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Animate and oversee supervision during the activities
  • Decorating the premises for special events
  • Manage the logistics pertaining to the activities
  • Plan the activities calendar
  • Promote activities related to the residents
  • Regularly validate that activities correspond to the needs and desires of the residents and collaborate with the different departments of the residence to facilitate tasks
  • Welcome the residents and invite them to participate in the activities
  • Write the in house newspaper as needed and take residents' registrations for the various activities

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Collect degree in recreation (DEC) or other related field
  • Experience in managing activities related to older people (an asset)
