NAIT is recruiting for casual Educational Laboratory Technologist II roles in Edmonton. Responsibilities include preparing, setting up, calibrating, and dismantling laboratory equipment for demonstrations and experiments, while assisting instructors and maintaining labs.
Position involves inventory control, repairs, ordering, and safety documentation, with benefits and AUPE collective agreement. Remote work is not indicated; on-site lab work is expected in Canada.

These casual opportunities will end on or before April 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities include preparing, setting up, calibrating, and dismantling laboratory equipment, devices, and processes used in demonstrations and experiments. Employees assist instructional staff by supporting or performing laboratory demonstrations and procedures, and carry out day‑to‑day maintenance, repair, and calibration of equipment. Work also involves inventory control, ordering supplies, and fabricating parts or devices required for repairs or specialized instructional demonstrations. Employees may coordinate the work of others when tasks require collective effort. Contact with students involves explaining the principles and operation of laboratory equipment and processes.
