Job summary

Bragg Creek Education Services Association (BCESA) is seeking Educational Assistants to support preschool children at a daycare in Banff. You will work with teachers, therapists, and childcare staff to help children reach developmental goals in a supportive classroom setting.

You will be part of a collaborative team, contributing to individualized learning plans and inclusive activities that promote confidence, independence, and participation among young learners.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting preschool-aged children in classroom settings.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists and childcare staff.
• Willingness to implement individualized learning strategies under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support children with diverse learning and developmental needs within the classroom.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Help implement individualized learning strategies under guidance of teachers and therapists.
• Encourage children’s confidence, independence, and participation.
• Assist with classroom routines and activities.
• Monitor progress and maintain documentation.

Job Overview

Bragg Creek Education Services Association (BCESA) is seeking caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Educational Assistants to join our Early Intervention team supporting children at a daycare in Banff.

As an Educational Assistant, you will work alongside teachers, therapists, and childcare educators to help preschool-aged children reach their developmental goals within their everyday classroom environment.

Compensation

Hours

Part-Time: Approximately 15 hours/week (Monday-Friday mornings)

What You’ll Do

• Support children with diverse learning and developmental needs within the classroom
