Job summary

Chinook School Division is hiring five Educational Assistants to support students in the Functional Integrated program at Swift Current Comprehensive High School. Start date: as soon as possible. Compensation ranges from $20.27 to $27.10 per hour, with benefits and pension eligibility.

Chinook School Division is seeking five positions as Educational Assistants to support students in the Functional Integrated program at Swift Current Comprehensive High School. This position will be subject to additional contracted hours due to the nature of the positions and based on individual needs of students. Training will be provided for any specific duties that are required.

Qualifications :

• Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
• Ability and experience in working with children

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
• Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting
• Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
• Work as part of a team in development and implementation of Individual Improvement Plan
