Job summary

Wolfcreek is seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to join our school community. This full-time 1.0 FTE role supports students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom, starting as soon as possible for the 2026/2027 school year.

The successful candidate will build strong, collaborative relationships with students and staff, communicate effectively, and adapt to a flexible, team-oriented learning environment. Experience with complex needs is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with complex needs.
• Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality.
• Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment.
• Ability to work one-on-one or with a student in an inclusive environment.
• Knowledge of ASL or use of AAC would be considered an asset.
• Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs.
• Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care, hygiene, and assisting with medications.
