• Two-year post-secondary diploma in a relevant field such as Developmental Service Worker, Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, or Practical Nursing (formerly RNA diploma).
• Experience with students with multiple needs including physical needs, Autism, developmental delays, behavior, and anger management needs.
• Preference for experience with children with behavior exceptionalities.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of behavior modification strategies.
• Knowledge of augmentative communication strategies.
• Experience using technology and digital tools that support remote learning (Google Classroom, Google Meet).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and good written and oral communication.
• Regular access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.

• Knowledge of augmentative communication strategies.
• Experience using technology and digital tools and resources that support the remote learning environment (e.g., Google Classroom, Google Meet)
• Excellent interpersonal skills; and
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Regular access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Preferred Requirements

• Non-violent crisis intervention training would be an asset
• French language skills would be considered an asset
• First Aid training
