Niagara Catholic District School Board invites applications for a Casual Educational Assistant on an on-call basis to fill in for staff who are away or on leave. You will support students with special education needs under the direction of the classroom teacher.
Responsibilities include working with teachers, assisting in instruction per IEPs, and attending to health, safety and daily care tasks as needed. Must travel to locations within the board; hours vary and include on-call availability.

The Niagara Catholic District School Board invites applications for the position of Casual Educational Assistant. Casual Educational Assistants work on an on‑call, “as needed” basis, filling in for school Educational Assistant staff who are away or on a leave. Our Educational Assistant staff assist students with special education needs in achieving personal, social, physical and academic development under the direction of the classroom teacher or other professionals.
Rate of Pay: $26.91 per hour
Background Checks
As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Police Record Check, dated within the past six months of the hire date.
