An educational institution in Cochrane is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant to provide classroom support to students based on their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs. This temporary position runs from August 28, 2025, until April 10, 2026. Qualifications include relevant post-secondary education and experience working with special education needs. Competitive salary is provided as per the collective agreement.

Position Summary :
Educational Assistants provide classroom support to students based on their individual academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and physical needs. This includes supporting students to access the curriculum and meet their full potential in both integrated and high-support settings.
Qualifications :
Post-secondary education in Educational Assistance, Early Childhood Education, Developmental Services Worker, or related field, and/or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience working with students with special education needs of varying ages, preferably in a school setting.
Salary as per the current OSSTF-EA collective agreement.
