Job summary

Sturgeon Public Schools in Bon Accord, Alberta, is hiring two Educational Assistant 2 positions (1.0 FTE, 32.5 hours/week) at Lilian Schick School. You will support diverse learners, reinforce academic goals, and help create an inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking two Full-Time Temporary Educational Assistant 2 for a work assignment at Lilian Schick.

Every student learns differently and deserves the support they need to thrive. As an Educational Assistant, you play an important role in helping students access learning, build confidence, and experience success in the classroom. Through collaboration, encouragement, and individualised support, you help create inclusive learning environments where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their potential.

Located in the Town of Bon Accord, Lilian Schick School serves approximately 240 students in Grades 5–9. With strong academics, non-denominational Christian faith-based LOGOS programming, and a focus on student well‑being, the school provides opportunities for students to learn, grow, make healthy choices, and achieve their goals.

What You'll Be Doing

Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will:

• Support students across a range of grades and learning needs
