Job summary

Holy Spirit Catholic School Division is seeking an Education Assistant for the CARE Campus in Lethbridge. The role supports diverse learners under supervision, promoting inclusive education and student engagement.

The position is 28.0 hours per week, starting October 5, 2026, covered by CUPE 1825. The successful candidate must meet physical demands and maintain confidentiality; Brain Story Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education Assistant Certificate and/or Diploma or Rehabilitation Practitioner Certificate and/or Diploma.
• Brain Story Certification is preferred for this role.
• At least one year experience working with students with special programming needs.

Responsibilities

• Support children with a wide range of needs under supervision of the Inclusive Education Lead, classroom teacher and principal.
• Engage students actively in their educational program and collaborative activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of the school community.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-based learning environment.
