Marketing Operations Specialist (16 month term)

Summary

Reporting to the VP Product Marketing, this role manages and executes marketing operations, focusing on marketing automation activities that support brand awareness and business growth. The individual will maintain, optimize, and report on marketing automation campaigns to drive lead progression from prospect to sales qualified. Experience with Pardot / Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement or similar platforms, along with email marketing and demand generation best practices, is essential. Knowledge of digital lead generation methods and social media platforms is highly desirable.

What you do
  • Manage Pardot / Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, including lead management, nurturing, segmentation, and A/B testing.
  • Handle database management tasks such as entering leads, assigning MQLs to sales, and generating ROI reports.
  • Proactively manage automation campaigns, including content development, scheduling, and automation flows tailored to various initiatives.
  • Refine processes to speed up MQL conversion, set lead scoring criteria, and improve targeting strategies.
  • Manage and report on SEO and Google Ads campaigns and budgets, aligned with inbound marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal salesforce administrative staff to implement process changes and tool integrations, enhancing ROI tracking and end-user experience.
  • Track and report key metrics using tools like Pardot, Salesforce, SEM Rush, and social media analytics to monitor brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Respond to departmental requests related to email marketing and lead management.
  • Perform other duties as required.
What you need
  • Post-secondary education with a focus on marketing communications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing operations or demand generation roles.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Pardot / Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and CRM (Salesforce).
  • Understanding of inbound marketing and digital marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in computer and database skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve lead generation KPIs.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and strategies.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities for independent troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales processes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
