About The Team

The NGSIEM product team seeks an experienced Engineering Manager with strong technical skills, collaborative spirit, and a passion for advancing NG-SIEM technology. You will leverage your UI engineering expertise to develop new features and improve CrowdStrike’s investigation, detection, and prevention tools within NGSIEM, endpoint, and SOAR markets. The role requires ability to influence cross-functional teams.

About The Role

As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee recruitment, workload, team wellbeing, and professional development. You will foster an open, collaborative environment and coordinate with UX and engineering teams to ensure project success. This role may suit an experienced manager or a senior/team-lead ready to step into management.

What You’ll Do

• Manage team workload, project resourcing, and coordination in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
• Support team wellbeing through guidance on resourcing, progress, and soft skills; provide coaching and feedback.
• Lead recruitment processes from initial contact to offer.
• Occasional travel for project offsites and team events.
• Develop understanding of cybersecurity to support leads and team members effectively.

What You’ll Need

• Strong front-end engineering experience with JS, CSS, HTML, and modern frameworks.
• Experience mentoring and supporting teams with empathy and professionalism.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of automation testing, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks like Playwright.

Bonus Points

• Experience with cybersecurity, startups, and remote work environments.
• Knowledge of Ember.js.
• Experience leveraging Generative AI in engineering workflows.

The salary range for this role in Canada is $150,000 - $225,000 CAD annually, plus incentives, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by experience, skills, and location. All employment is contingent on background checks.
