Job Description :

The VP Finance, Global Technology and Corporate Segment oversees key financial and strategic prioritization and investment for technology across Sun Life, as well as the Corporate Segment, providing thought leadership. This role reports to the SVP & CFO, Global Technology, Finance Strategy and Operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of Finance professionals supporting Global Technology and the Corporate Segment.
• Lead planning and reporting processes.
• Provide decision support to senior leaders in Global Technology and the Corporate Segment.
• Manage investment prioritization, highlighting value and benefits.
• Offer financial thought leadership to leaders in DBTS and the Corporate Office, sharing insights for optimal decisions and investments.
• Advance transparency and cost optimization of Corporate and Digital, Business and Technology Solutions (DBTS).
• Optimize the Technology and Corporate allocation model, partnering with Business Group Finance teams to review, influence, and recommend opportunities.
• Lead and oversee the Enterprise Request for Approval (RFA) process, including business case review and project portfolio management, ensuring policy adoption.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Group finance teams.
• Build, attract, and develop a diverse, high-performing team.

Ideal Experience :

• Accounting designation with 10+ years in financial management, in a senior leadership role or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading across diverse geographies and disciplines, managing partner satisfaction.
• Proven track record of innovation, solutions-oriented leadership, and change management.
