Marketing Coordinator - Fulltime / Permanent - Edmonton

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator who is passionate about creative content, digital marketing, and strategic thinking in a faith-based organization.

What are some key responsibilities?

  • Implement the marketing strategy as defined by executive leadership, ensuring alignment with the credit union’s mission, vision and strategic priorities.
  • Develop consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels, upholding the credit union’s unique positioning as a faith-driven financial institution.
  • Develop engaging and relevant content across various channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, marketing campaigns, brochures, and presentations.
  • Manage and optimize our online presence, including website maintenance (promotional campaigns, content updates, SEO), social media management (content creation, scheduling, community engagement), and email marketing (campaign development, list management, performance analysis).
  • Coordinate and produce internal and external publications and other marketing communication collateral, including newsletters, materials for membership development programs, product sales, radio advertising, community events, and partnerships, as needed.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Analyze data and prepare standardized reports for management with insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Act as departmental liaison with internal teams supporting marketing requirements. Train and educate staff on marketing campaigns and features and benefits of products and services.
  • Coordinate and evaluate requests for sponsorships, donations, and credit union involvement.
  • Coordinate annual scholarship process, including assignment of Scholarship Committee, tracking results, creating certificates, arranging presenters, and managing scholarship redemptions.

What are the skills and attributes of a Marketing Coordinator?

Demonstrates Christian character and the Christian Credit Union core values of humble, hungry, and people smart with a desire to promote biblical financial stewardship.

Strong writing and editing skills required, including presentation skills.

Proficient with design platforms (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.)

Proficient with tools / platforms and best practices in online, social and direct marketing.

Understanding of the digital environment and evolving tools / platforms, including tracking analytics and interpreting data into insights.

Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Workspace.

Knowledgeable in basic UX / UI principles preferred.

Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Digital Communications and Media or equivalent marketing experience.

A competitive salary range of $49,920.00 – $62,400.00 per annum along with benefits package, deposit and loan program and education programs are all reasons to consider Christian Credit Union for your career.
