Summer Experience 2025 – Summer Posting

The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board invites applications for the position of Educational Assistant – Summer Learning Program - Mental Health.

Duties Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Assisting the Mental Health Leader
  • Assisting the Classroom Teacher
  • Assisting the Summer Learning Principal
  • Coordinating community partner presentations
  • Liaising between summer school employees and parents
  • Collecting and organizing enrollment data from various locations
  • Supporting the Mental Health Summer Programming

The successful applicant must be available for the entire duration of the program. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing an Education Degree.

Rate of Pay: $22.00/hour

Hours of Work: 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (subject to change)

Start Date: May 26, 2025 (subject to change)

End Date: August 14, 2025 (subject to change)

Prior to employment, all successful applicants will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening document deemed satisfactory to the Board. Please do not submit your Police Records Check with your application.
