Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Manager, Design & Planning to finalize building designs, identify requirements, and define the scope of renovations for tendering.
2. Develop and adhere to comprehensive budgets, recommending value-engineering proposals as needed.
3. Support the development of AFE and business cases.
4. Design in-house relays and upgrades for minor renovations; oversee design for large-scale projects.
5. Coordinate with external suppliers, vendors, and internal teams (architects, design firms, engineers, store development & strategy, sales, marketing, IT) to develop designs that support company strategy.
6. Maintain current store footprints, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and fostering product innovation.
7. Understand and guide compliance with municipal, regional, and provincial building maintenance requirements (e.g., waste management, fire codes, safety).
8. Build and maintain effective internal and external relationships to promote a productive environment.
9. Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication to maximize project success.
10. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Post-secondary degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of project-related experience.
• Extensive experience in planning, design, and execution with a proven track record.
• Effective leadership skills, including team motivation and budget management.
• Strong client management and relationship-building abilities.
• Affinity for luxury retail and a keen eye for quality and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
