Who we need

Right now, we are adding a Transport Driver to our team in Saskatoon. We need a strong communicator and a roll-up-your-sleeves team player who shares our passion for enriching the lives of the clients we work with. We need a self-directed learner who is results-oriented and driven to complete their deliverables promptly; someone who is genuinely curious about our industry and willing to put in the time and research to learn more. We rely on our Transport Drivers to provide timely and excellent customer service.

Who you are

Whether you have worked in the rehabilitation and mobility space in the past or you are looking to jump headfirst into a new career, this is an opportunity for someone who doesn’t like to be constantly stuck behind a desk. You are a process driven individual, who will be responsible for operating an accessible vehicle while transporting kids & adults to school and/or medical appointments throughout the day. You will also assist with delivering medical equipment as well as completing other duties as assigned.

What’s in it for you?

This is your first step into a growing organization where you can find out the type of work you enjoy doing and gain expertise in these areas. We want to help you build your career; whether you want to grow into a warehouse lead, a service technician or a sales consultant, we will give you the tools and resources to get the most out of your time at Motion. You will work in an attractive and well-outfitted facility and out and about in the community with committed and collaborative team members dedicated to providing our clients the best customer service experience.

Motion is a place where we want you to take pride in being a team; we work together to create a place where you can feel welcomed and respected every day you come through our doors. Joining us now is a chance to build your career at a company that makes an impact on people’s lives.

What you will do :

  1. Provide excellent customer service by arriving 10-15 minutes early to pick up clients, ensuring the vehicle is clean and sanitized, and maintaining all health and safety procedures.
  2. Liaise with Service Coordinators to ensure accurate information and route deliveries, spending approximately half of your day on the road delivering mobility equipment and clients in and around Saskatoon.
  3. Assist with assembling and troubleshooting mobility and accessibility equipment, and perform deliveries and pick-ups of equipment, supporting service calls as needed.
  4. Support your team with various tasks, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude to assist where needed.

What you bring :

  1. A team-oriented approach with respect, responsiveness, and a strong work ethic. Driven to meet your goals and support your team.
  2. High school diploma and ideally 1 year of relevant experience in inventory handling or warehouse roles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects. Aptitude for mechanical work and independent work skills.
  3. Excellent communication skills, empathetic and capable of providing outstanding customer service.
  4. Technical skills, including ability to make minor adjustments to wheelchairs, assemble/disassemble equipment, and participate in inventory counts.
  5. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a clean criminal background check, bondability, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  6. Bonus: experience with Outlook and Navision, forklift certification.

Why join? We are Motion

Join us to be part of a company that is transforming and fostering a culture of belonging, giving, and strength. Make an impact in people’s lives and grow your career in a supportive environment.
