ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing Canadian developer specializing in multi-family residential projects, is seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join their in-house design team. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transform conceptual and schematic designs into full construction documents using Revit.
- Review technical drawings to ensure compliance with design standards and project requirements.
- Support the development of schematic designs, design development sets, and construction documentation.
- Ensure documentation meets quality standards and formatting requirements.
- Coordinate technical drawing content with senior technologists and support project integration across disciplines.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams as part of an integrated project delivery model.
- Develop 3D models and technical drawings in Revit throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform related drafting and technical tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural design/drafting, preferably within the residential or commercial sector.
- Proficiency in Revit, including 3D modeling and document production.
- Experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp considered an asset.
- Solid knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
- Familiarity with coordinating drawings across structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Certification in CTTAM and/or ABTAM is an asset.
