The Consultant Engineer assists policyholders in physically protecting their large industrial and commercial properties against hazards such as fire, explosion, earthquakes, collapses, windstorms, mechanical and electrical breakdowns, among others. The role involves developing effective loss prevention solutions, managing projects to completion, and staying updated through regular technical training. Location requirement
Must reside in Halifax.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering; membership in Engineers Nova Scotia or other provincial/territorial engineering regulators in Canada.
Experience
0-3 years in engineering, preferably in consulting, fire protection, or insurance sectors.
